Magnum Tonic Wine, the drink of dancehall that has been impacting the genre’s popular culture since 1999, will be bringing its bold brazen and magnetic essence to Guyana on April 2 with Magnum Xplosion.

Magnum Xplosion is a massive concert planned for Guyana National Stadium in Providence, which will be headlined by Aidonia, Ding Dong, and Bunji Garlin. Local performers on the bill are Timeka Marshall, Popeye Caution and Jomo. The event will also feature local disc jockeys such as Fusion and Determine sound systems. Gates open at 8 PM, with performances starting at 9 PM. Tickets are $2,000, $3,000 at the gate but with the purchase of three Magnum Tonic Wines at select retailers; you will receive a free ticket to the event.

“Magnum has always been innovative and trendy with its campaigns and activations since its launch. With our close ties to the streets, we looked very closely at the current Caribbean music climate and knew that people of Guyana music would appreciate Magnum Xplosion, and the line-up we are offering,” an elated Kamal Powell, Regional Marketing Manager for the brand explained.

Magnum Xplosion will not only take place in Guyana, but will also make stops in Trinidad & Tobago), and other Caribbean countries to be confirmed. Another perfomer expected to be on these bills is Patrice Roberts, who like Ding Dong, is a regional brand influencer for Magnum Tonic Wine. Roberts’ (Carnival) Sweet for Days was one of the most played songs during Trinidad & Tobago’s two-day Carnival Road March for 2018.

Magnum Tonic Wine is a unique ready-to-drink hot or cold offering that is bottled at 16.5% alcohol volume, and is made with Vigorton 2, which includes iron, minerals and vitamin B6. It’s current campaign is Tek Charge, which is a celebration of individuality to flaunt your personal prowess in any given situation.The brand is the highest selling tonic wine in Jamaica, and has a strong and growing presence in the regional market, with Trinidad & Tobago being its largest export base within CARICOM.
