Delegates of the 12th Biennial Commonwealth Association for Public
Administration and Management (CAPAM) Conference were welcomed to the
country with a reception at State House’s Baridi Benab.

Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo, who is currently performing the
functions of the President, encouraged the participants to tour Guyana
during their time in the country.

This is the first time Guyana is hosting the conference which is being
attended by members of the Commonwealth.

The three-day conference, themed ‘Transforming the Public Sector for
Climate Governance’, is being held at the Marriott Hotel.
