This past weekend (Saturday October 20), between 07:30 to 09:00 hours, Traffic Chief, Superintendent Linden Isles along with his Deputy, Deputy Superintendent Dennis Stephen and other ranks from Traffic Headquarters, carried out a Traffic Exercise in various parts of Georgetown.
During the exercise over thirty five (35) Mini-Bus drivers were taken to Traffic Headquarters and their Vehicles impounded for various Traffic Offences such as; Breach of Conditions of Road Service Licence, Tinted Motor Vehicles, Unlicensed Conductor, Untidy Driver, Wrapped Vehicles, Uncertified Motor Vehicle, amongst numerous other offences.
Traffic Chief Superintendent, L. Isles while addressing the Mini-Bus drivers notified them that their vehicles will be inspected by the Licence and Certifying Officer for further and necessary actions to be taken.
