Tomorrow the Caribbean ICT Roadshow and conference is set to kick off at the newly refurbished Arthur Chung Conference Center at Liliendaal. Scheduled to open the six-day activity is President David Granger. The spate of workshops and discussions on everything ICT will be the first major event to be staged at the ACCC since it was re-commissioned in early June.

Consultants and technocrats attached to the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) have begun to arrive in Guyana ahead of the Roadshow slated to last for six days, from Monday 9 to Saturday 14 July.

Following the Opening ceremony scheduled to commence at 09:00 hrs, the Agriculture experts will go immediately into a strategic discussion with Guyanese farmers and planners on the best way to inculcate technologies into planting, irrigation, fertilization, reaping, measuring soil content, etc.

A separate forum in another conference room at ACCC will see experts who have tremendous familiarity with modern applications and gadgets interacting with our citizens living with disabilities, demonstrating how they could become more productive and improve their earning capacities.

Ministry of Public Telecommunications is partnering with the CTU to host this ICT Roadshow designed specifically for the benefit of Guyanese people.  The Premium sponsor is Digicel.
