Yesterday Argos Cement, S.A. in collaboration with its local partners and distributor National Hardware (Guyana) Ltd launched its new “Soluble Smart Pack Cement – The Bag that becomes Mortar. The demonstration was done at National Hardware, Industrial Site, Ruimveldt, with a presentation from Ms. Joslyn De La Cruz, Argos Technical Advisor, and Mr. Jose Guillermo Araujo, Argos International Sales Manager. The event was cheered by Director of National Hardware (Guyana) Ltd, Mr. Edward Boyer.
A LIVE technical demonstration of the new product’s innovative features was done. It offered a solution geared to meeting the challenges of the industry and provided new environmentally friendly ways of disposing of the cement bags. The launch event was intended to inform members across the construction and engineering sectors of this new technology, as both companies focused on ‘going green and sustainability’.
Argos Cement, S.A. indicated that “innovation is the only way to remain competitive in order to offer the best and more efficient solutions to our clients. It is with great pride that we are introducing the Soluble Smart Pack Cement to Guyana which will be available all across Guyana, in hardware stores of our local partners at the current price of Argos Cement.” Argos Cement has been distributing to Guyana for a number of years and is confident that this new product will be well received by both the Guyanese construction industry and wider populace.
