Back To School

Written by
With one week to go before school reopens, the rush is on to get school supplies and to get in gear as the new academic year begins. We know, sometimes things happen and those which you anticipated doing earlier had to be postponed so you it’s one big hustle and bustle; dodging crowds of people, trying to get the right equipment, because we know how picky “dem young’uns” could be. This back to schools season, we have some of the best tips to help you with that last minute shopping, to get your loved one ready just in time.

-Make a complete list and budget of everything you need before going out.
-Ensure that you remember to stick to that list, so that means NO impulse buying.
-Make an inventory of things that you already have so that you don’t end up buying more unnecessarily.
-It’s okay, let you children choose what they want, remember, they have to use it, so it is what’s most comfortable for them. (Unless you judgment tells otherwise)
-Avoid late morning and early afternoon shopping; that’s when the crowds congregate. The earlier or the later, the better.
-If the price of an item seems too good to be true, it probably isn’t worth it. Stick to quality, it is better to buy one ruler that lasts all year than multiple over the span of a few months.
-Keep an eye on advertisements in the media, there could be great deals just lurking around the corner.
-Never buy more than you need in an attempt to enter a promotion. The chances of winning are slim and you still have a budget to maintain.
