One hundred thousand dollars [$100,000] and Business Education Training sponsored by the Small Business Bureau (SBB) are being offered to the winners of the Business Plan Competition spearheaded by the Rotaract Club of the University of Guyana (RCUG).
RCUG, a non-governmental organisation based on the University’s Turkeyen campus, took a decision to launch this competition via social media targeting mainly UG students on 26th April.
The competition will require entrants to draft a small business proposal by the deadline of May 18, 2017. Judging of the submitted proposals will be done by personnel of the SBB. Hence, interested parties are advised to carefully review the criteria to ensure they’re considered for the $100,000 winnings to start their very own business.
The club will also be providing advisors to interested persons, since the aim of the project is to open the minds of persons to not only create but also have the opportunity to market what may be the next great idea in the business community. In addition; Action Coach, a Business Training and Consulting firm, will be providing a well versed Coach to the winner to guide him/ her through the execution of the winning proposal. This will include obtaining loans if necessary too.
Interested persons are asked to email their submissions to the club’s email address [email protected]. Further, to obtain further instructions, participants are required to like the club’s FB page (Facebook.com/rotaractug) and join its event to be the beneficiaries of further instructions.
