CAMEX opens fifth Dairy Queen Restaurant

With a grand celebration CAMEX Restaurants Inc, officially opened its fifth Dairy Queen Restaurant announces at Mandela Avenue in Georgetown on Friday.
The event commeneced with a special day for all Dairy Queen fans which took the form of its Chill Fridaze Radio segment on the 94.1BOOM FM’s ‘The Hangout’ at 11:30am; followed by its ‘Grab & Go’ Special Happy Hours from 2pm to 5pm of a Classic dog and a small Artic Rush for ONLY $1,000.
The Grab & Go Special will remain a feature at the Mandela location until the holidays from Monday to Fridays (2pm to 3pm) and will also be available at any of its other restaurants.
The curtains came down on the grand opening with Chill Treats from 6pm to 7pm with FREE cone giveaways to fans.
Dairy Queen Mandela will serve a variety of soft-serve items, including its world famous Blizzard Treats, as well as dipped cones, sundaes and cakes. The Mandela location will feature a fresh and exciting design concept ideal for families, with dine in and playhouse facilities upstairs.
CAMEX Restaurants Inc acknowledges that significant growth in Guyana over the years has made Georgetown an important market to operate within. The company is a proud member of the local community and will continue to provide employment opportunities for young Guyanese.
Dairy Queen thrives on the notion that it serves ‘fan food’ and not merely ‘fast food’.
