Caribbean Airlines renews commitment to Guyana

As part of it celebrations for Guyana’s 51st Independence Anniversary on Friday  May 26, 2017, Caribbean Airlines offered a special Miles Promotion to its customers purchasing tickets at its Georgetown Office. The promotion offers a chance to win 51,000 miles.

A random draw on Wednesday May 31, 2017, will allow for one lucky winner to be selected.

In a further gesture of appreciation, the airline also treated customers who visited its city ticket office to delicious cupcakes in recognition of Independence Day on Friday last.

Caribbean Airlines’ Senior Marketing Manager, Mrs Alicia Cabrera, noted: “Guyana continues to be an important destination to Caribbean Airlines and as the designated carrier for the past 10 years the CAL team continues to go beyond to serve our valued Guyanese customers.”

Just last month the contribution of Caribbean Airlines was recognised. This was characterised by a special token of appreciation being presented to the company by Guyana’s First Lady, Mrs. Sandra Granger. The occasion was one that noted the company’s outstanding and longstanding service to Guyana.

Mrs Cabrera received the recognition token at a ceremony held at the Guyana National Cultural Centre.

Meanwhile, Caribbean Airlines has added extra services for the summer period, with an average of six daily flights, carrying over 350,000 passengers to and from Guyana annually. Cabrera added: “We are honoured to continue partnering with the Guyanese Government and other key stakeholders to deliver reliable service with added value.”
