The holidays have left us all with some amount of insecurities. For some it’s financial, for others, physical and yet for some, emotional. We may not be able to help you with all of those but for those who put fitness first and foremost, here are some tips on how to do it right this resolution season.

  1. Drink Plenty of water and other calorie free beverages
  2. Stay away from night time snacking
  3. Enjoy your favourite foods, just less of them
  4. Eat several mini meals during the day
  5. Ensure that there is protein in every meal
  6. Use a lot of spices
  7. Order children’s portions at restaurants (cut back on the calories)
  8. Instead of pasta, use vegetables
  9. Always eat breakfast
  10. Always include fibre in your diet
  11. Get rid of all the fattening foods in your kitchen
  12. Don’t expect to lose a lot of weight suddenly, take it slowly and be patient
  13. Weigh yourself only once weekly
  14. Get enough sleep
  15. Eat more fruits and veggies
