The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) will be holding several club tournaments on Saturdays and Sundays commencing August 20th to November 5th 2017 as detailed. All matches will be at the National Park starting with GRFU Seven’s Men and Women on August 20 and on August 27, will be the Trophy Stall Seven’s Men and Women.
The GRFU Seven’s (Men and Women) and Trophy Stall Seven’s (Men and Women) are tournaments that conclude the 2016 domestic season. In 2016, the inclement weather conditions caused many postponements of tournaments, thus causing the season to extend into 2017.
Meanwhile, the Bounty Farm Fifteens dates are slated for September 2 to November 5.
National training for the Men and Women will continue with training days for the Men being Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays every week from 15:30 (3:30) to 18:000 (6:00pm) and Training days for the Women being Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every week from 16:30 (4:30pm) to 18:00 (6:00pm).
