On Thursday two football coaches one from the Netherlands Mr Andre Simmelink and one from Suriname Mr Kenneth Jaliens who are trainers of trainers paid a Courtesy call on Hon. Minister Nicolette Henry.
The Coaches are in Guyana for a five days training session/ workshop that ends on Friday. That workshop for the past few days saw the engagement Twenty-six (26) coaches representing clubs as well as physical education teachers from the local school system. so benefitting from this certificate course are representatives from sports and youth organisations.
Minister Henry welcomed the coaches to Guyana in the presence of Director of Sports Christopher Jones and expressed Government’s gratitude for the imparting of needed knowledge into trainers of trainers to the betterment of the sport in Guyana.
