Dynamic Guyana Bound Following Precautionary Landing in Puerto Rico

Dynamic International Airways flight from New York to Guyana was yesterday forced to make precautionary landing in Puerto Rico. The flight has since been scheduled to arrive at Cheddi Jagan International Airport.

The aircraft was slated to leave Guyana for New York within two hours of its arrival here.

While en-route to Guyana yesterday from New York the 767 pilots performed a precautionary landing in Puerto Rico following which maintenance checks resulted in the need for a reset of the Flight Crew’s Duty Time. This ultimately delayed the departure of the flight from Puerto Rico, according to local representative, Captain Gerald Gouveia.

Dynamic International Airways, Gouveia said, apologizes for the inconvenience this unforeseen delay has caused passengers and thanks them for their patience and cooperation.

“Our staff worked diligently to communicate with affected passengers during the course of the day,” he informed. He added, “ Dynamic International Airways remains committed to the Guyana market and will be adding another aircraft as a backup into the fleet so as to provide a more efficient service to Guyanese and other passengers.”
