The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry Limited (GBTI Ltd) is once again currently holding its Annual Early Savers Summer Camp from July 10 to 14, 2017. The Summer camp will start daily from 09:00 hours – 15:00 hours at the Bank’s Recreational Centre, in Bel Air Park.

This year’s Summer Camp caters for two age groups – 7-10 for which sessions are conducted in the morning, and 11-15 for which afternoon sessions are conducted.

The younger group of children will be exposed to Storytelling sessions facilitated by renowned story teller and literary activist Mr Allan Fenty, followed by an Arts and Craft session facilitated by a member of the Guyana Women’s Artist Association. Meanwhile, the older group of children are more actively involved in arts and craft projects such as tie dying, making towel racks, floral vases, paper mache’ and other such activities.

The camp will culminate at 13:00 hours on Friday with an exhibition of the art pieces and a presentation ceremony of the winners of the best arts and craft projects.

The GBTI Annual Summer Camp caters for children who are members of its Early Savers Club, and forms a part of the benefits that are enjoyed by being a part of that Club.
