The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) Limited has lent its support to the first ever “Lethem Town Week” events by making a financial donation.
GBTI’s Lethem Branch Manager, Mrs Sharon King, presented the donation on behalf of the Bank which was received by the Treasurer of the Lethem Town Council, Ms Miriam Saba.
Ms Saba expressed her gratitude on behalf of theCouncil.

GBTI has always been an ardent supporter of the various activities within Region Nine.
Town Week is an inaugural event which aims to showcase the unique offerings of Lethem and the overall diversity of the Rupununi. The event this year is slated for October 15 – 21, 2017.
The week-long event will include various events including an exhibition of local businesses and organisations, Gospel concert, Fashion show, among others. President David Granger, as part of the celebrations will officially declare Lethem a town on October 20.
