Following the election of a new Council of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) for the year 2018/2019 on Thursday, March 29, 2018, the Council, which consists of 21 members, held its first Statutory Meeting on Thursday, April 5, 2018 to elect from its body a new Executive Management Committee (EMC) for the year 2018/2019. The new EMC is composed of a President, Senior Vice-President, Junior Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.
GCCI new Executive Management Committee
The following members were elected on Thursday, April 5, 2018 as the new Executive Management Committee of the Chamber for the year 2018/2019: President: Deodat Indar of Sterling Products Limited; Senior Vice-President: Nicholas Deygoo of National Hardware (Guyana) Limited; Junior Vice-President: Timothy Tucker of Rid-O-Pes; Secretary: Kester Hutson of Dapper Technology; Treasurer: Shanti Persaud of Silvie’s Variety Store.
In addition, a number of members were elected on Thursday, March 29, 2018 as the new Council of the Chamber for the year 2018/2019.
