Written by

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) with financial and technical support from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), through its Caribbean Technological Consultancy Services Network (CTCS), is implementing a three years programme entitled “Enhancing the Capacity of Micro Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Guyana”. The GCCI will be implanting total of 15 sub-projects over a three years period targeting MSMEs in the various sectors and sub-sectors.

Through this programme, the GCCI will provide technical assistance support through workshops, seminars and organizational attachments.

It is expected that the training activities will assist MSMEs to transition from small scale operations to large volume production and take advantage of export opportunities when they arise.

In promoting the programme countrywide, the GCCI has held a number of consultations across the country and have collaborated with many stakeholder groups.
