Non-Resident Ambassador (Designate) of the Republic of Guatemala to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana His Excellency Mario Estuardo Torres Townson today, May 16, 2018, paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Carl Greenidge, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during which they discussed areas of mutual interest. Ambassador (Designate) Townson will present his Letters of Credence later today.
Formal diplomatic relations between Guyana and Guatemala were established on May 1, 1992.
