Guyana Restaurant Week Commences November 18

Guyana restaurant Week 2016 will begin on November 18th and will continue through November 27th.

It is basically a celebration of everything culinary and bringing to the forefront some of the best restaurants in Guyana. During this ten day event, participating restaurants will offer an exclusive menu at a significantly reduced price. As such Restaurant Week gives visitors and local foodies an opportunity to enjoy specialty prix fixe menus from skilled local chefs. This comes just in time as November is Tourism Awareness Month and so will allow for the showcasing of what Guyana has to offer in terms of cuisine.

During Guyana Restaurant Week participating restaurants will allowing customers to try a special meal of theirs at a reduced ‘Guyana Restaurant Week’ price. The multi-course dining experience starts at $2,000 for lunch, and $4,000 and/or $5,000 for dinner including VAT and service charges wherever applicable. Beverages will not be included however Folonari wines will be available at many of the participating restaurants at $4000 per bottle or $1000 per glass.

Here’s how you can get involved: First select one of the participating restaurant and make early reservations. When you get there, just simply ask for the Special Restaurant Week Menu, and don’t forget t try the Folonari Wines. Next, review your experience and share it with your family and friends online, that is, any social media site.
