Miss Earth Guyana being prepped for November pageant

Guyana Premier, the franchise holder of Miss Earth Guyana, has announced that Xamiera Kippins will be representing Guyana at the 18th Edition of The Miss Earth Beauty Pageant in November. Coronation night will be held on Saturday, 03rd November, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. The preliminary competitions starting from October will be held in Boracay Island. Boracay was awarded as the 2012 best island in the world from the international travel magazine Travel + Leisure.

Miss Earth is an annual international environmental-themed beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. This year Guyana’s “Beauties For A Cause” will be focused on ReBuild. ReBUILD stands for: “Recycle, build, upcycle and invest in lives with dreams.” Xamiera will be fully trained and equipped for the international leg as she will be trained by former Miss Universe Guyana and Chief Executive Officer for Jada’s Consultancy, Meleesa Payne – Bishop while Randy Madray will be one of the designers working on Miss Earth Guyana’s wardrobe. The theme for Miss Earth 2018 is “Goddesses of Mother Earth.” Miss Earth Guyana 2018 is sponsored by DemBake, Caribbean Wind & Sun Inc., Aracari Resort and Precise Printing.
