All roads will lead to the Rose Hall Canje Ground, Berbice, for the second installment of the “Music of the World” concert tonight. The first of the two shows was held last evening, Saturday 25th March. The artistes are all present and all plans are moving apace to hold the final mega event tonight that is expected to be explosive.
The event is promoted by Fire Fest Productions after a three-year hiatus. The star-studded line-up for the concert features Indian comedian Jhony Leaver; young Bollywood singing sensation Kumar Nihar; Del-E-Nadan’s Rennie Ramnarine; Trinidad’s chutney star Avinash Maharaj; “De Showstopper”, Raymond Ramnarine; Bollywood playback singer Satnarine Ragoo; Trinidad’s melody queen Savita Singh and Guyana’s own Mahendra Ramkellawan.
In addition to the cast, the Fire Fest Band, Shakti Strings Orchestra, Asha G and Fire Fest Dancers and Del-E-Nadan are expected to create quite a stir. WR Reaz and DJ Sheriff out of Trinidad and Tobago will be emceeing the concert. Tickets for the event cost $1500 for general admission and $5000 for those who wish to experience the VIP treatment.
