Nations University gifts scholarship to 2017 Miss World Guyana

Vena Mookram can easily be classified as a beauty brains. She has already proven she is good enough to use her beauty to ascend to the high platform of Miss World Guyana and will represent Guyana at the 2017 Miss World Pageant next month in China.
But once she gets done with the Miss World pageantry stage her brain will be taking the centrestage.
You see just before she jetted off to China for the big pageant Mookram was the recipient of a scholarship to attend Nations University.
This will allow her to commence in January 2018 the management and business studies of the Association of Business Executives Level 4
programme.
“She proves that it is possible to be both blessed with beauty and have a clear career path mapped out,” said Director of the University, Dr. Brian O’Toole.
Before leaving Guyana for China, Mookram visited the institution to accept her scholarship and there she shared news of the various issues she is championing in the ares of health and youth leadership. Upon her return she plans to join other students at Naons in their work with
youths in the communities of Sophia, Tiger Bay and East La Penitence.
The finals of the Miss World competion will be shown live on television and according to Dr O’Toole, “we will be watching closely to see our own Vena Mookram.”
