Through dance, the NEW ERA ENTERTAINMENT (NEE) group is seeking to give hope to youths who are vulnerable to suicide, crime, domestic violence, prostitution, drug abuse, and other prevalent social ills.
The group operates with belief that youths should be given opportunities to enjoy the freedom of discovering their natural talents, to learn how to be good team players, and how to compete professionally in any industry that has the potential to transform their lives mentally, socially and economically.

This year, the NEW ERA ENTERTAINMENT (NEE) group has added a sizzling twist to its third Annual Kids Summer Event, titled Dance Extravaganza 2017.
The event comprises of two categories (AGES 12-17 and Open. The winners will receive trophies and cash prizes as follows: Age 12-17: First Place $25,000 and Second Place $15,000.
In the Open category: First Place $100,000 and Second Place $40,000.
An audition, which was held on July 9th last, set the stage for the grand Semi-Final scheduled for Sunday July 23rd at the New Silver City Secondary School. The dance off will commence at 3 pm and the finals is slated for August 5th at the Mackenzie Sports Club Ground, Linden.
To date the organizers are thankful for the support they have received from Gafoors and Sons Limited; 4R Bearings Belts and Rice Machinery; Cevons Waste Management; and Republic Bank Limited (Linden Branch). Given the interest shown the finals of Dance Extravaganza 2017 is expected to leave fans eager for Season 2 – Dance Extravaganza 2018.
