The month of November has been deemed Tourism Awareness Month In Guyana and the theme for 2016 is: Tourism For All- Building Partnerships for Tourism Development. The aim of selecting November for Tourism Awareness is so that persons living in and out of Guyana can grasp what Guyana has to offer on the spectrum of tourism. It is true that we all know of the popular tourism destinations in the country, but there are so much more that is yet to be discovered. It is on this premise that raising the awareness for tourism in Guyana was initiated, in the hopes that one day, the country will be one of the premier tourism destinations on this side of the world.
With the observance of tourism comes a number of activities, beginning from today.
