PHASE 2 DEVELOPMENT WILL DOUBLE LIZA PHASE 1 – EXXONMOBIL

Oil discovery continues to increase as more oil is found by the Oil company through the various projects. One such project known as the Liza Phase which is said to double in the second phase preceding the first one. The effect this may have is an increase in the efficiency of the oil company. However, concerns have been raised about the increased discovery in oil such as oil spills. The company highlights that an incident of such nature is already catered for. Thus, preparations whether on the machine itself, practice preparedness and prevention are all plans in place, in case of an oil spill.

Moreover, based on a study done by the EPA factors that may lead to an oil spill are minimized, thus decreasing the risks.
