The Guyana Police Force has issued an advisory to in inform members of the public that in order to facilitate activities relating to the Mashramani float parade 2018 a number of intersections will be closed to vehicular traffic. The closure will commence from 6:00h on Friday and continue until the end of the days’ activities.
The closures will be as follows: Camp Street and Thomas land; Albert Street and Woolford Avenue; Sandy Bobb and Vlissegen Road; Sandy Bobb and J.B Singh; Barr Street and Vlissengen Road; Dowding and Vlissengen Road; Station Street and Vlissengen Road; Lamaha Street and Vlissengen Road; Woolford Avenue and Vlissengen Road; Woolford and J.B. Singh; Anira and Irving Streets and Laluni and Irving Streets.
The following roads will also be closed to facilitate the float parade: Crown and Irving Streets; Almond and Irving Streets; Forshaw and Irving Streets; Church Street and Vlissengen Road; North and Vlissengen Roads; Regent Street and Vlissengen Road; South and Vlissengen Road; Brickdam and Vlissengen Road; Homestretch Avenue and Vlissengen Road; Hadfield and Vlissengen Road and Mandela Avenue and Vlissengen Road.
