Save A Life set to hold Medical Outreach in Wakenaam

Medical Personnel from Save A Life (SAL), Inc. will be at the Wakenaam Cottage Hospital on April 14, 2018. The outreach will start from 8am to 4 pm to see patients free of cost. Please walk with your national identification card and any medical records or medication you are now taking.

The following services will be available:Internal Medicine (Diabetics etc.); Cardiology (Heart problems); Dermatology (Skin Disease); Infectious Disease (Infections); Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Pregnancy Etc); Paediatrics (Children sickness); Ophthalmology (Eye Problem & Disease); Eye Care (Vision testing for Glasses) Psychiatrist/Psychologist (Mental Health); Surgery (Circumcision); Ear, Nose and Throat; Acupuncture (Pain, Pinch Nerve, etc.); Dental (Extraction, Cleaning and More) and Cervical Cancer Screening.

SAVE A LIFE INCORPORATION (SAL), is a Guyanese registered charitable organization according to the laws of Guyana and is comprised of members of the medical and non-medical profession in communities across Guyana.

Guided by the motto, “We can’t help everyone, but together we all can help someone save a life”, SAL’s mission is therefore to: promote healthcare and well-being through charitable; works to all regions of Guyana, providing access and sustained treatment and care; assist needy families and disadvantage senior citizens in communities; establish alliances with other credible organizations and individuals whose goals are of similar import to SAL and support the works and initiatives of the Ministries of Public Health, and appropriate Ministries to enhance the delivery of public goods and services in communities.
