The Save Abee Foundation has been continuing a tremendous mission to bring aid to many villages across the country. In fact recently the charitable organization detailed some of its recent efforts which included heading to Swan Village, off of the Sodeskye/Linden Highway in July. There its members distributed 76 backpacks, donated on behalf of Enforcers Care. Added to this, 50 food hampers filled with beans and lentils, tea, milk, noodles and sardines were given to the families.

This year, Save Abee Foundation opened its second computer school location. At its annual graduation of the Save Abee computer schools commenced. Students graduated from not only one location, in Cotton Tree, West Coast Berbice, but from another in Port Mourant, East Berbice-Corentyne. A total of 71 children graduated from both locations. Twenty- one students from the Cotton Tree location and 12 from the Port Mourant location graduated from the computer program.

Thirty-eight students graduated from the Math and English Program in Cotton Tree. The graduation, hosted at the school in Cotton Tree every year, is an opportunity for local youths to celebrate the accomplishments of the students and showcase their talents by dance and song performances. Certificates were given for completion and awards were given for top students and most improved. Save Abee Foundation has been gaining support from Pandit Suresh Sugrim and the Humanitarian Mission of New Jersey Arya Samaj for allowing the use of the Port Mourant facility.

Save Abee Foundation was also this year able to visit hospitals and facilities in Regions Three, Five and Six in order to distribute medical supplies and equipment. Wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, pampers, commodes, feminine hygiene products, nebulizers and other items. Wheelchairs and walkers were given to citizens. All this was done with the support of the Ministry of Public Health.
