Local youths will be prepared for the competitive tennis arena when the Guyana Tennis Association hosts its 13th P&P Insurance Brokers Junior Tennis Camp. The Tennis Camp will commence tomorrow.
Children between the ages of 6-11 will be trained at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall from 9:00am while those between the ages of 12-18 will be trained at the National Racquet Centre at Camp and Woolford Avenue from 12noon.
The camp is the most significant annual junior development event after the end of the school year and it usually attracts at least 50 young children who enjoy learning the rudimentary principles of playing tennis in a fun and creative environment. The camp provides a potent avenue for the introduction of many new players to clubs for further training.

P&P has pledged its support for the 13th year in succession urging all participants to give their best efforts and continue to persevere towards success.
The camp will be conducted by Coaches Shelly Daly, Leyland Leacock and Assistant Coaches from the National Junior Team Daniel Lopes, Jordan Beaton, Kalyca Fraser who have all initially benefitted from the P&P Tennis Camps in their early tennis career. The camp runs from Monday July 17th to Friday August 4thon weekdays only. Players can register by calling 645-2901.
