Trans Guyana completes G1000 Online remote recurrent training

April 2018 marked an important milestone in Guyana’s private aviation sector. Trans Guyana Airways Limited (TGAL) successfully completed, the country’s first ever, G1000 Online Remote Caravan Training facilitated by Flight Safety International, Wichita. This training was the first to be delivered using online medium to an aviation company residing out of the United States of America.

The delivery of the course was purely web-based interaction between the participants and presenters. The following TGAL Pilots and GCAA representative were a part of the first batch of participants:  Capt. Francis Camacho, Capt. Cleon Melville, Capt. Peter Dos Ramos, Capt. Al Fredericks, Capt. Shivram Arjun, Capt. Jonathan Mohamed, Capt. Cleril Lyttle and Capt. Christopher Kirkcaldy (GCAA Representative).

Flight Safety International long standing relationship with Trans Guyana Airways Limited in providing flight training to the pilot body continues to positively strengthen the relations between the two entities.
