T&T Chamber to spearhead trade mission to Guyana

Written by

The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce will lead a delegation of some 22 companies on a Trade Mission to Guyana from June 12 to 13, 2017. Headed by CEO, Gabriel Faria, the mission aims to foster and build collaborative business relationships to promote the mutual growth and development of both the T&T and Guyana economies, through increased trade and commerce.

For decades both countries have enjoyed close links which were formally established through the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas. With Guyana now poised for considerable economic advancement, it is expected that new service industries requiring additional skill sets and investments will become a reality. Sustainable cross-border trade and business relations will now be the order of the day, opening new opportunities for enterprises in both territories in the sphere of export, import, distribution and investment.

The T&T Chamber trade mission will host companies spanning the ICT, Real Estate Development, Manufacturing, Business Support Services, Financial Services and Educational Services to name a few. The T&T delegation will also connect with Guyanese enterprises in search of business opportunities to export and develop synergies with Trinidadian and Tobagonian firms in accessing the Trinidad and Tobago markets.

Companies interested in meeting with specific visiting companies are asked to contact the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce using: 1-868-637-6966 Extensions 1246, 1249 or 1288 or e-mail: [email protected]; [email protected]; or [email protected]. Inquiries can be made locally on telephone number: 223-5583.
