UG partners with GTT to ease stress of tuition fees payment

Written by

Today the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph [GTT] solidify its partnership with the University of Guyana [UG] by inking a contract that will allow students to pay their tuition fees through the telephone company.

The signing of the agreement in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding [MOU] occurred in the office of the Vice Chancellor this morning. According to the MOU, GTT, through its Mobile Money option, will allow students a hassle-free avenue to pay their UG Tuition and Facilities Fees.

It was just last month that GTT and the Ministry of Finance forged a similar alliance to allow past and present students to pay their loans using the Mobile Money option too.

Students desirous of using this payment can do so by paying through a GTT Agent or with their mobile phones by visiting mmg.co.gy.
