GTT has announced its special Teachers’ Plan which was launched on September 10, 2018 during their Back to School Motivational Caravan. This value plan is packaged exclusively for teachers who are being deemed ‘our champions’ who pave the way for the future generation.

This Plan gives teachers across Guyana 25% more value on all Prepaid Mobile Plans and Top-ups. This means our teachers will get 25% more credit regardless of their top-up amounts and 25% more data, voice minutes or text messages on all mobile plan activations.

To subscribe teachers can take a confirmation letter signed by either their school’s HM or the Ministry of Education, along with a valid ID to any GTT Retail Store.

CEO of GTT, Justin Nedd stated “we are inspired by the service our teachers provide us and it makes us proud to give them more value on all qualifying mobile plans”. He continued to say that GTT is big on education and will play its role in the enhancement of education for the Guyanese people by partnering with the Ministry of Education.

In addition, GTT continue to visit secondary schools around Guyana with support from their Brand Ambassadors Franklin “Saiku Andrews, Poonam Singh and Andrew King. While at the schools they engagethe students in motivational talks and giveaways.

In an effort to do more for the schools GTT’s Head of Mobile, Rhonda Allicock commented “GTT wants to extend the love to schools across Guyana, so we are giving every school the opportunity to become one of two schools to receive GY$100,000 to assist in any of their school’s projects. It’s quite simple, have as many persons text your school’s name to 620-7223. The more you text the higher the probability of your school receiving GY$100,000 from GTT.”

Responding to GTT’s announcement, Minister of Education, Ms. Nicolette Henry commended GTT’s initiative. “MoEis appreciative of the collaborative efforts of GTT and welcomes other stakeholders to support similar benevolent gestures.” GTT continues to do more in Education.
