GTT Motivational Caravan heads to St Joseph High School

GTT continued its motivational caravan and this time headed to the St. Joseph Senior High School. It was a world of energy, laughter and smiles as GTT officials and brand ambassadors interacted with 3rd and 4th form Joseph students.

Poonam Singh shared from her personal life story encouraging students to never let age be a deterring factor in accomplishing what you set your mind to; “even if they say you’re too young, never let what persons say to you cause you to back down from achieving your goals in life”. She made sure to share her famous “G-U-Y-A-N-A” song with the students, who were very receptive, as they sang along with her.

Saiku Andrews, another GTT brand ambassador who is famous for his “If My Pillow Could Speak” production, opened up to the students on his upbringing in an area most would term as vulnerable or depressed, by the hands of a single parent mother; yet still his life is one that can be boasted about. He encouraged the student to “never let anyone tell you who you are, you determine who you are and what your future turns out to be”. He further encouraged those present to always work towards their dream, “you will achieve it”; adding that without putting in the work a dream is just a dream.

During the session Public Relations Specialist for GTT, Jasmin Harris stated “GTT is doing their part in transforming the lives of students through this motivational caravan and intends to be an encouragement to the younger generation to do more with their lives”. The St. Jospeh studentsfurther interacted with Jasmin and won for themselves GTT memorabilia byanswering questions about GTT, current affairs and fun riddles. It was loads of fun, not only for the students, but for theGTT officials and their brand ambassadors.

GTT took the opportunity to promote the teacher’s plan where every teacher has the opportunity to save with GTT and receive for themselves 25% more on mobile service transactions. Students were also informed of the opportunity for their school to enter into a chance to win one of two GYD$100,000 prizes by simply texting the name of their school to 620-7223.

GTT continues to do more with their Motivational Caravan, this Friday 21st September 2018, at St. Roses and St. Stanislaus Senior Secondary Schools as the company remains committed to aiding in the development of our nation’s children.
