Blaze technology is the most anticipated internet service in Guyana. The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) continues to pave the way for the further development of high speed internet to its consumers; one community at a time.
Registration and sale of blaze in the Parfaite Harmonie community began in early June 2018. During that time one hundred and twenty-five Blaze services were installed over a two day period. Today, same day installation of Blaze services continued in the area, much to the pleasure of all living there. In anticipation of a 70% blaze coverage by the end of August 2018, an increase of on the ground operators and installation crew members were evident.
GTT set up sales and distribution tents at 13th Street to ensure this target could be achieved. This set up also allowed for easy access to blaze service registration and sales. For those who didn’t make it to the tents, GTT staffers went house to house to ensure everyone had the opportunity to be in with blaze. According to GTT’s Product Manager – Fixed Services, Sherissa Critchlow, “No one will be blaze-less; Parfaite is blazing into the future with GTT Do more!”
Justin Nedd, CEO of GTT, was on the ground during this activation and was proud of all team GTT had accomplished thus far. He also joined the crew for an installation at one customer’s home where he was praised for a job well done, to which he responded; “It’s a team effort, all for our loyal customers”.
By midday on day one, GTT had two hundred and seventy (270) blaze sales with over 50 installations completed at that time; further installations will be effected on tomorrow Sunday 5th August 2018.
GTT continues to work tirelessly to ensure all of Guyana is in with the blaze.
