This week, for our talent piece, we will be featuring Asma Khan, Proprietor of Cuppie Cake.
Cuppie Cake was opened with the intention of satisfying the cravings of all desirous of devouring a delicious cake for just about any occasion. Purchasers have a number of designs and flavors to choose from.
Relating how she got started in this field, Khan explained that she was inspired by relatives and friends who knew her passion for creativity, especially her husband, who has always encouraged and supported her to open her very own cake business.
Apart from baking and cake decorating, Khan also enjoys making other delicious sweet treats, fishing and spending quality time with her husband and beautiful 3-year-old daughter.
Surprisingly, even while doing all of this, she fulfils her capacity as a full-time sales representative, which she describes as quite a challenge. However, she manages to do it all with much love and dedication.
Khan explained that balancing her time is quite simple; she does her full-time job during the day and fills cake orders during the night. She often finds herself catching just a few hours of sleep, but at the end of it all, it’s what makes her happy. She believed success is earned and not given.
