Since leave Guyana’s shores on October 3 last, President David Granger has been subjected to an intensive series of tests by specialist doctors in Cuba.
This is according to official information released by government.
According to information disseminated to the media the President is resting comfortably at an official residence following. It was however noted that clinical analyses conducted on the Head of State are still incomplete and it is expected that the Guyana Embassy in Havana will issue a statement when enough evidence is available.
Reports however suggest that the President has responded satisfactorily to medical interventions over the past week and is recovering well.
President Granger has moreover assures all citizens that he is receiving the best possible medical advice and attention and has expressed thanks to Guyanese for their expressions of concern.
