Caribbean Airlines now offers customers travelling within the Caribbean, who require flights with more than one airline to reach their final destination, the ability to book their entire journey directly through the Caribbean Airlines website. Customers can now book flights, via www.caribbean-airlines.com, to seven regional destinations operated by Caribbean Airlines’ interline partners LIAT, Bahamas Air and Suriname Airways, provided that at least one portion of their journey is a Caribbean Airlines flight.
This means customers can now seamlessly book and travel across the region to destinations such as Tortola, Dominica, Pointe-a-Pitre Guadeloupe, Forte de France Martinique, Curacao, Freeport Bahamas and George Town Bahamas; all with the convenience of online booking.
Caribbean Airlines CEO, Garvin Medera states, “We are delighted to make access to interline travel easier and much more convenient to our customers, as our interline partnerships allow us to offer a wider range of travel options, whilst expanding our network into the Region. As travel is multidirectional, this also allows us the opportunity to welcome new travellers from many of the cities to which we now offer connections, sharing the ‘warmth of the islands’ beyond our core network.” Caribbean Airlines has a total of 21 interline partners, connecting customers to destinations within the Caribbean, US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. The airline’s latest interline partner is Hainan Airlines, headquartered in Haikou, Hainan, People’s Republic of China.
Caribbean Airlines’ interline and e-ticketing agreement with Hainan Airlines allows greater accessibility and convenience for travellers and cargo services between China and the Caribbean. Caribbean Airlines will be periodically expanding digital interline booking ability to new destinations, and immediately, customers can book regional interline travel with our airline partners LIAT, Bahamas Air and Suriname Airways on www.caribbean-airlines.com and for bookings to other destinations with our other airline partners via Caribbean Reservations Department or by visiting any Caribbean Airlines Ticket Office.
